Accessories for BSA GOLD STAR 650

Accessories for your BSA Gold Star 650

The BSA Gold Star 650 brings classic motorcycle style to everyday journeys and relaxed rides along winding country roads. Equipping it is less about adding something for every eventuality and more about the riding you actually do. Longer stretches on open roads put wind protection higher on the list, while regular town use brings parking and low-speed manoeuvres into focus. This selection covers screens and protectors for the Gold Star, with Puig among the accessory brands represented.

What riders usually fit to the BSA Gold Star 650

• Screens: A screen helps deflect airflow away from your upper body, which can make sustained open-road riding more comfortable. That matters if your Gold Star spends weekends exploring country roads rather than just making short trips across town. The balance between wind coverage and appearance is worth considering on a classic-styled bike: a screen becomes part of the front-end profile. Think about how much of an afternoon ride involves exposed stretches, rather than judging its usefulness solely by the distance you cover.
• Protectors: These help limit damage to the areas they cover if the bike suffers a minor knock or a stationary tip-over. On a Gold Star used for everyday transport, their role is particularly relevant when squeezing into a parking space, wheeling the bike out of a garage or turning it around by hand. They also serve a purpose away from town, during roadside stops where you need to park and reposition the bike. Protection remains local to the covered areas; it does not make the motorcycle immune to damage.
