Accessories for the Cagiva Navigator 1000

The Cagiva Navigator 1000 is an adventure bike suited to road riding and touring. A weekend ride on winding roads and a longer trip place different demands on a bike from a short journey across town. That makes the way you use your Navigator 1000 a useful starting point when looking at accessories. The selection here focuses on two practical areas: brakes and filters, both relevant whether you ride regularly or are getting ready to cover a longer distance.

What riders usually fit to the Cagiva Navigator 1000

Rather than changing the bike's appearance, the accessory types available here relate to riding and routine upkeep. Think about the journeys you make most often, then look at the parts that matter for those journeys:

• Brakes: Riding through a series of bends, descending a hill or travelling with luggage all make braking feel particularly important. If you are working on the brakes before a touring trip, this is where to look for the relevant parts for your Navigator 1000. It is also a useful place to start when routine use prompts you to revisit how the bike slows down.
• Filters: Regular riding and longer tours both make planned maintenance worth keeping in mind. Filters belong on that list of parts to consider when preparing the Navigator 1000 for more miles. This section is relevant whether the bike is part of your everyday routine or comes out mainly for trips and weekend rides.

These two categories address different jobs: one concerns the bike's braking, while the other sits within its ongoing maintenance. Choosing where to start depends on what you are doing with your Navigator 1000 next, from a local ride to a longer journey on the road.
