Accessories for the Cagiva Planet 125

The Cagiva Planet 125 is a small-capacity naked bike suited to everyday journeys and rides along winding roads. This style leaves the rider more exposed to airflow than a faired machine, so the balance between town riding and open roads matters when choosing accessories. A short urban commute puts the emphasis on protecting exposed areas during parking and manoeuvring; longer stretches out of town give a screen a more useful role.

What riders usually fit to the Cagiva Planet 125

• Screens: on a Planet 125 used beyond city streets, a screen can redirect some of the airflow away from your upper body. That makes it a relevant addition for a commute with open-road sections, rather than just a styling change. Screen height and shape affect how much shelter you get, and your riding position also makes a difference. Puig is among the accessory brands available for this model, with screens a key part of the selection.
• Protectors: daily town use often means moving the Planet 125 into parking spaces, wheeling it around a garage or negotiating tight spots at low speed. Protectors can help limit scuffs and minor damage to the areas they cover during everyday use. This is useful when your regular parking spot leaves little room to move the bike. Their purpose is localised protection, not to make the whole machine immune to damage in a fall.

A screen will not give the Planet 125 the shelter of a fully faired bike. Think of it as a way to manage airflow on road rides, rather than eliminate it.
