CFMOTO 450MT accessories for road and trail riding

The CFMOTO 450MT is an adventure bike suited to mixing tarmac with unpaved trails, whether you use it for everyday journeys or weekends away. The right accessories depend on where those miles take you. Longer road sections put wind protection and luggage higher on the list, while regular trail riding makes protection and comfortable contact with the bike more important.

What riders usually fit to the CFMOTO 450MT

• Screens: useful for motorway links and full days on the road, helping to divert airflow away from the rider. For mixed road and trail use, it is also worth considering how the screen affects your view of the ground immediately ahead.
• Crash bars: particularly relevant when your routes leave the tarmac, where a low-speed tumble can put the bike against stones or uneven ground. They help keep the areas they cover from making direct contact with the surface.
• Footpegs: switching between seated road riding and standing on trails makes foot support a practical consideration. Peg shape and tread area matter when placing your boots, especially on rides where you change position frequently as the terrain varies.
• Luggage: gives you somewhere to carry clothing and essentials for overnight stops without relying on a backpack. If a trip includes narrow trails as well as open roads, planning around what you genuinely need helps keep the load manageable.
• Levers: clutch and brake operation deserves attention on a bike used for both commuting and longer adventures. A comfortable reach to the controls is particularly useful when a day involves repeated stops in traffic followed by hours on winding roads.

For a trail-focused setup, start with protection and riding position. If most of your journeys involve longer road distances and overnight stays, give wind protection and luggage greater priority.
