Accessories for the CFMOTO 650MT

The CFMOTO 650MT is an adventure-style bike suited to road trips as well as regular journeys. What makes sense to fit depends on how you use yours: a day out on familiar roads calls for different packing than several days away. Luggage is worth considering when you need room for more than the essentials, while an exhaust appeals to riders who want a different sound and appearance. Both choices can shape your experience of riding the 650MT, but they serve quite different purposes.

What riders usually fit to the CFMOTO 650MT

Think about the journeys you make most often before deciding where to start. On a bike used for both commuting and touring, carrying your things comfortably may be the priority. If you travel light and spend your weekends on the road, the way your bike sounds might matter more to you. Accessory brands represented for this model include Givi, Ixil and Mivv.

• Panniers: give you room to organise clothing and other belongings when a ride on the 650MT turns into a few days away. Keeping your load on the bike rather than on your shoulders can make a long stint in the saddle more pleasant. They can also be useful between trips, particularly if you ride to work and need somewhere for the items you take with you each day.
• Exhausts: offer a way to alter the sound and look of your 650MT without changing how you pack for a ride. If you regularly spend hours on the road, consider that you will hear that sound throughout the journey, not just when setting off. For shorter weekend rides, you may be more interested in how the bike feels to you as you accelerate. An exhaust is a personal choice, rather than a solution for carrying more luggage.

For a 650MT that does a bit of everything, it helps to decide whether carrying gear or changing the riding experience would make the bigger difference to your usual journeys.
