Accessories for the Daelim VJ 125 FI Roadwin

The Daelim VJ 125 FI Roadwin is a 125cc naked bike suited to getting around town as well as riding on the road. Stop-start traffic and parking put different demands on it from a longer stretch at open-road speeds, where wind becomes more noticeable. That makes your usual route a useful starting point when choosing what to fit: a screen may matter more on a regular commute beyond town, while protection is worth considering when most journeys involve busy streets and frequent stops.

What riders usually fit to the Daelim VJ 125 FI Roadwin

For this bike, screens and protectors address two familiar parts of everyday riding. Neither needs to be treated as a default upgrade; each makes sense for a particular kind of journey:

• Screens: on a naked bike, the rider faces the airflow more directly once the pace picks up. A screen can deflect some of that wind, making it relevant if your Roadwin regularly takes you out of town rather than only across it. It is particularly worth considering for a commute with a sustained stretch of open road, where exposure to the wind is more noticeable than on short urban trips.
• Protectors: low-speed manoeuvres, parking and moving through traffic are routine on a bike used around town. Protectors are intended to help limit damage to the areas they cover if the bike ends up on its side. They will not prevent every mark, but they address a practical concern for a Roadwin that spends much of its time navigating streets and parking spaces.

Puig is among the accessory brands available for this model. If you ride both in town and on the open road, think about which part of that routine you want to address first: everyday protection or relief from the wind.
