Accessories for the Derbi Rambla

The Derbi Rambla is a scooter suited to getting around town. Much of that riding involves short journeys, frequent stops and parking in places where space is limited. That makes everyday use a useful starting point when choosing accessories: think about where you leave the scooter, how you find an unfamiliar address and the tight manoeuvres that come with urban parking. For a Rambla from 2008 to 2014, these concerns are often more relevant than preparing for a long ride. The aim is to make the journeys you actually take, and the stops between them, easier to manage.

What riders usually fit to the Derbi Rambla

• Protectors: easing the Rambla into a parking space or wheeling it past other bikes can mean working with very little room. Protectors help look after exposed areas against scuffs and minor knocks during those low-speed moments. They make particular sense if your daily routine involves parking on the street and moving the scooter in and out of narrow spaces.
• Phone mounts: a familiar commute rarely needs directions, but a new address on the other side of town might. A phone mount keeps navigation in a position where you can check the route at a glance rather than taking the phone out at every stop. On the Rambla, that is useful for the mix of regular journeys and occasional trips to unfamiliar streets.
• Security locks: using the Rambla for commuting, errands or several appointments in one day means leaving it parked repeatedly. A lock adds a security measure for those stops, whether you are away briefly or the scooter stays parked for longer. It is worth making room for one in your routine before setting off, rather than thinking about security only once you have arrived.

Start with the part of your day that calls for the most attention: tight parking, finding your way or leaving the Rambla unattended.
