Accessories for the Ducati 1299 Superleggera

The Ducati 1299 Superleggera is a sports bike that puts the rider’s position and connection with the controls at the centre of the experience. What you fit depends on where you ride it. A day on the road calls for attention to what is happening around you, while a track session puts greater emphasis on how you sit and move on the bike. This page covers accessories for the 2017 model.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati 1299 Superleggera

Rather than changing the character of the bike, accessories here can address particular areas that matter when riding a sports machine:

• Covers and caps: these are worth considering if you pay attention to the exposed details of the 1299 Superleggera. They let you refine visible areas while keeping the focus on the bike’s existing lines.
• Handlebar accessories: the area around the controls matters when you spend time tucked into a sporty riding position. How your hands meet the bike is part of feeling settled on a winding road or during a track session.
• Mirrors: for road riding, being aware of traffic behind you is essential. Mirrors also shape the appearance of a sports bike’s front end, so they are both a practical and a visual consideration.
• Footpegs: your feet provide an important point of contact when shifting your position through a series of bends. Think about how you sit and move on the Ducati when considering this area.
• Protectors: these make sense if you want to pay particular attention to exposed parts of the bike, whether your riding is mainly on the road or includes track days.
• Number plate holders: if you ride on the road, the rear of the bike is another area you may want to refine while keeping that use firmly in mind.

Rizoma is among the accessory brands available for this model. Your usual riding gives you a useful starting point: mirrors may be prominent in your road-riding decisions, whereas your position on the bike may matter more at the circuit.
