Accessories for the Ducati 848 EVO

The Ducati 848 EVO is a sports bike suited to winding roads and track days. Accessories for this kind of riding are less about carrying luggage and more about your position on the bike, how you use the controls and protecting exposed areas. A road-focused setup may put wind protection first, while regular circuit use brings the contact points between rider and machine into sharper focus.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati 848 EVO

• Screens: help manage airflow around your upper body and helmet. On the 848 EVO, consider how you sit during a road ride as well as your tucked position on track: the shape that suits one posture may offer a different level of shelter in the other.
• Levers: finger placement matters when you are repeatedly using the brake and clutch through a series of bends. Lever shape and reach deserve attention on a sports bike, particularly when you want your hands to remain comfortable throughout a longer session.
• Protectors: are a practical consideration for an 848 EVO used on weekend rides and circuit outings. They can help limit damage to the areas they cover in a fall, although they cannot prevent every consequence of a crash.
• Footrests: provide the support your feet need as you move around the bike through corners. For a road-going 848 EVO, leg position over longer distances matters too, rather than judging the setup solely by how it feels during a short track session.
• Number plate holders: offer a way to change the rear-end finish in keeping with the Ducati’s sporting style. They make sense as a visual detail once you have addressed the controls, riding position and protection that serve your everyday riding.

For mixed road and track use, aim for a setup you can live with in both settings. A position that works for a few laps may feel less comfortable several hours into a ride.
