Accessories for DUCATI 900 SS SUPERLIGHT

Accessories for the Ducati 900 SS Superlight

The Ducati 900 SS Superlight is a classic sports bike suited to weekend road rides and winding routes. That kind of riding puts the emphasis on your position, exposure to the wind and contact with the controls. Accessories can help you focus on comfort for longer outings, protect the areas you want to preserve or tidy up the details while keeping the bike’s sporting character.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati 900 SS Superlight

• Screens: help direct airflow away from the rider on open roads. When a favourite twisty route involves a motorway link, wind protection becomes more relevant: it can reduce the need to tuck in simply to get out of the airflow.
• Levers: get plenty of use on roads that call for frequent braking and gear changes. Their shape and reach influence how comfortably your hands operate the controls, making them worth considering for full mornings spent exploring bends rather than short local runs.
• Footrests: provide support for your feet and contribute to your riding position. On a road-going sports bike such as the 900 SS Superlight, that support matters when shifting your weight through a sequence of bends and settling back into the seat afterwards.
• Protectors: help limit damage from a scrape or fall to the areas they cover. They make sense for a classic Ducati that still gets ridden regularly, balancing the wish to preserve the bike with the enjoyment of taking it out on the road.
• Fasteners: are useful when replacing fixings or attending to the finish during a refresh. For this classic sports bike, small visible details offer a way to tidy its appearance without making a more conspicuous styling change.

For longer road rides, start with wind protection and rider contact points. For a cosmetic refresh, distinguish between fixings that need attention and changes made purely for appearance.
