Accessories for the Ducati Diavel

The Ducati Diavel brings a sporting approach to cruiser riding, whether you spend your time crossing town or heading out on winding roads. That mix gives you several directions for accessorising it. Wind protection matters more on longer journeys, the riding position deserves attention when hours add up, and styling parts serve a different purpose altogether. Start with the journeys you actually make rather than treating every addition as equally useful.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati Diavel

• Screens: worth considering when a weekend ride starts with a long motorway stretch. A screen helps redirect airflow away from your upper body, making wind protection a more relevant priority for open-road use than for short trips across town.
• Levers: frequent clutch and brake use in traffic puts the relationship between your hands and the controls into focus. On a Diavel used for commuting as well as winding-road rides, lever shape and reach matter beyond their contribution to the bike’s appearance.
• Handlebars: hand position is an important part of setting up a cruiser for your riding. If your Diavel alternates between relaxed outings and more involved cornering, consider the posture you want for both rather than making the choice on looks alone.
• Protectors: help limit damage to the areas they cover in a fall. They are a practical consideration for an everyday Diavel, particularly when parking spaces, garage manoeuvres and repeated stops feature more often than uninterrupted stretches of country road.
• Number plate holders: focus on the appearance of the rear end. For riders personalising the Diavel’s sporting cruiser look, they address styling rather than the wind exposure or riding position that may take priority on longer trips.

For mixed use, settle your control position first. Then weigh up how much of your riding takes place on exposed, faster roads before putting styling changes ahead of a screen.
