Accessories for the Ducati Diavel 1260

The Ducati Diavel 1260 brings a sporting edge to the cruiser format, so choosing accessories is about more than deciding how it should look. Town riding puts the emphasis on comfortable controls and riding position, while longer road trips make wind protection more relevant. Whether your Diavel is used for everyday journeys or weekends on winding roads, the most useful additions will reflect where you spend your time.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati Diavel 1260

• Screens: worth considering when a weekend ride involves motorway stretches or longer distances between stops. On a sporty cruiser such as the Diavel, directing airflow away from your upper body can make those linking miles more comfortable without making touring the sole focus.
• Protectors: a practical addition for a Diavel that regularly negotiates town traffic and parking spaces. They are intended to help limit damage to the areas they cover during a stationary drop or a low-speed mishap, rather than simply change the bike’s appearance.
• Levers: frequent clutch use in traffic and braking on winding roads place different demands on your hands. This is a useful area to personalise if you want to focus on finger contact and comfort at the controls as well as their finish.
• Handlebars: hand position influences how your arms and upper body sit on the bike. For the Diavel, it makes sense to consider whether relaxed cruising or more sporting road rides take priority before making this part of your personalisation.
• Number plate holders: suit riders whose plans for this sporty cruiser centre on its appearance. They offer a way to reshape the visual finish of the rear end when styling matters more to your build than preparing for longer journeys.

For mixed town and open-road use, identify your main priority first: riding position, wind exposure or protection during everyday manoeuvres. That gives each addition a clear purpose.
