Accessories for the Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP

The Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP is a supermoto-style bike that feels at home on winding roads. It can also be used for everyday journeys, where a clear view of surrounding traffic matters just as much as enjoying the ride. That mix of uses gives you a useful way to think about accessories: some serve you while you are riding, while others make it easier to look after the bike between outings. For the 2010 to 2012 model years, it makes sense to focus on items with a purpose in your own riding routine.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati Hypermotard 1100 EVO SP

Whether your rides involve tight bends or busy streets, these accessory types address distinct needs:

• Protectors: help shield exposed areas from minor knocks or a stationary drop. They are worth considering if your rides through the bends are regularly bookended by parking and manoeuvring in town; Puig is among the accessory brands available for this model.
• Mirrors: let you set up your rearward view to suit your riding position on the Hypermotard. That view is particularly useful when watching approaching traffic in town or checking what is behind you before an overtake on the open road.
• Stands and side stands: give you a practical way to support the bike while cleaning it or carrying out routine care. After a day on twisting roads, having it properly supported makes those jobs less awkward before your next ride.
• Filters: belong to the maintenance side of owning this bike, rather than being something you notice when picking a line through a corner. They give you an option to consider when routine servicing comes round; Sprint Filter is one of the accessory brands listed for the model.

Think about where you spend more time with your Hypermotard: on the road, navigating traffic or taking care of it at home. That makes it easier to concentrate on accessories you will actually use.
