Accessories for the Ducati Monster 796

The Ducati Monster 796 is a naked bike suited to weekday journeys through town and weekend rides on winding roads. Those two uses call for different priorities when choosing accessories. Protection and comfortable controls matter in urban traffic, while spending longer on open roads makes wind protection worth considering, without moving away from the Monster’s naked-bike look.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati Monster 796

• Screens: useful when your favourite roads involve a motorway journey to reach them. A screen helps divert airflow away from your torso, making it a relevant addition to a naked bike used for longer rides outside town.
• Protectors: a practical priority for a Monster used every day, particularly when parking and manoeuvring in tight spaces. They help limit damage to the areas they cover if the bike falls at low speed.
• Levers: frequent clutch use in traffic and braking on twisting roads put the hand controls at the centre of your ride. Lever shape and position influence how comfortably you reach and operate them throughout the journey.
• Footpegs: foot support deserves attention both when linking bends and when holding your riding position over longer distances. Think about the contact surface and foot position rather than treating this as a modification purely for sporty riding.
• Number plate holders: an option for giving the Monster’s rear end a cleaner appearance. They suit riders who want to personalise its naked styling, rather than focusing every change on weather protection or comfort over longer journeys.

Choosing parts for your Monster 796’s year

The Monster 796 has changed over the years, so the 2010-2014 and 2015-2016 versions need to be distinguished when choosing accessories. Parts are not necessarily interchangeable between the two. Choose your bike’s year on this page to see only the accessories that fit your version.
