Accessories for DUCATI MONSTER 797

Ducati Monster 797 accessories for commuting and weekend rides

The Ducati Monster 797 is a naked bike suited to everyday journeys and outings on winding roads. Those two uses call for slightly different priorities when choosing accessories. Frequent stops put the focus on comfortable controls and protection against low-speed mishaps, while longer stretches on open roads make wind protection more worthwhile. Start with the riding you do most often rather than changing everything at once.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati Monster 797

• Screens: a useful addition when your commute includes motorway miles or your weekend route involves a lengthy ride to reach the bends. A screen helps divert airflow away from your upper body, making wind exposure a consideration you can address on this naked bike.
• Crash protection: helps limit damage to the areas covered if the bike tips over or falls at low speed. For a Monster used around town, that makes it relevant to everyday parking and manoeuvring, not just spirited weekend riding.
• Handlebars and levers: offer ways to tailor your hand position and the feel of the controls. Comfortable lever operation matters in stop-start traffic, while handlebar choice can help you find a reach that avoids leaving your arms stretched on longer rides.
• Footpegs: worth considering when bends are the main reason you take the Monster out. Foot support is part of how you sit and move on the bike, and leg position becomes increasingly noticeable when a quick ride turns into a full afternoon.
• Tail tidies: change the appearance around the number plate, a visible part of the Monster 797's rear end. They suit a styling-focused approach without altering the rider's contact points or riding position.

For a weekday commute with faster sections, focus first on the controls and wind protection. If winding roads dominate your riding, give your hand and foot positions some thought before moving on to cosmetic changes.
