Accessories for the Ducati Monster 821 Stripe

The Ducati Monster 821 Stripe is a naked bike suited to weekday journeys and weekend rides on winding roads. That mix makes riding position, protection and airflow useful starting points when choosing accessories. A bike used mainly in town has different priorities from one that regularly covers motorway miles on the way to quieter roads, so your usual routes should guide what you fit first.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati Monster 821 Stripe

• Screens: worth considering when your favourite roads involve a longer journey to reach them. A screen redirects some of the airflow around your upper body, making wind protection a practical addition to a naked used beyond short urban trips.
• Handlebars and levers: these shape your reach to the controls and the position of your hands. For a Monster used in stop-start traffic as well as on twisting roads, the aim is comfortable wrists and easy operation of frequently used controls.
• Protectors: exposed areas deserve attention on a naked bike, particularly one used every day. Protection is a sensible priority when tight parking spaces and slow manoeuvres are routine, helping to limit damage from minor knocks or a stationary drop.
• Footrests: where your feet sit contributes to your overall riding position, whether you are linking bends or spending longer in the saddle. Consider foot support alongside handlebar position rather than treating the upper and lower body as separate concerns.
• Number plate holders: a way to give the rear a cleaner appearance, with a visual change that stands out on a naked. They suit an appearance-focused approach to the Monster, alongside other visible details such as mirrors.

For commuting, put comfort at the controls and protection first. If weekend rides regularly begin with a motorway stretch, a screen may be more useful than making cosmetic changes straight away.
