Accessories for DUCATI MONSTER V2

Accessories for the Ducati Monster V2

The Ducati Monster V2 is a naked bike suited to everyday rides and days spent on winding roads. That mix of uses matters when you decide what to fit. You might want protection for riding and parking around town, a way to carry a change of clothes for a short trip, or a different feel at the handlebars. The most useful choice depends on which of those rides fills more of your week.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati Monster V2

Accessories for the Monster V2 need not all serve the same purpose. Some make daily use easier, while others are more relevant when you have a longer ride planned. These are the options worth considering for the ways a naked bike is commonly used.

• Crash protection: frame sliders and guards are worth considering when your rides involve both bends and busy streets. They can help protect parts of the bike during a low-speed fall or a tip-over while parked, without being something you need to think about on every ride.
• Covers and blankets: a cover is useful when the Monster V2 is parked outside or spends a few days between weekend rides. It lets you keep the bike covered while it is not in use, particularly if most of its miles come from occasional trips rather than a daily commute.
• Handlebars: the position of your hands can affect how you feel on a series of bends and while negotiating traffic. Handlebar accessories are an option if you want to pay more attention to your riding position for the journeys you actually make.
• Luggage: cases give you somewhere to put clothes or personal items for a short break on the Monster V2. They can also be useful on a weekday when you need to carry more than will fit in your pockets.

Start with the ride you do most often. Parking in town, heading out for a few hours and travelling with an overnight bag place different demands on the bike; you need not treat them as the same journey.
