Accessories for the Ducati Multistrada 1260 S D|air

Long road journeys and winding weekend routes both suit the Ducati Multistrada 1260 S D|air. This road-focused adventure tourer calls for accessories that support hours in the saddle without overlooking the more engaging stretches between destinations. Wind protection, contact with the controls and protection during low-speed manoeuvres are useful starting points when deciding how to equip yours.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati Multistrada 1260 S D|air

• Screens: help manage the airflow reaching the rider on open roads. If your Multistrada spends the morning on a motorway before reaching quieter, twisting roads, screen height and shape deserve particular attention for those sustained cruising stretches.
• Protectors: help shield areas of the bike from knocks and scrapes. For touring use, their value is not limited to the ride itself: parking, turning at low speed and stopping somewhere unfamiliar are all part of a day on the road.
• Levers: shape and reach affect how your fingers meet the controls. That matters on a Multistrada used both for frequent operation in town and for longer rides where you spend much of the day at the handlebars.
• Footrests: provide the foundation for your foot position and contribute to your riding posture. On this adventure tourer, a defined foothold matters both when settling into a long seated journey and when linking bends on a favourite road.
• Phone mounts: keep navigation directions in view when exploring unfamiliar routes. They suit riders who plan journeys around interesting roads rather than simply the quickest arrival time. Set the route before leaving and stop somewhere safe before making adjustments.
