Touring accessories for the Ducati Multistrada 1260 S Grand Tour

The Ducati Multistrada 1260 S Grand Tour is a road-focused adventure touring motorcycle, suited to long trips as well as weekends on winding roads. Whether you travel solo or with a pillion, wind protection, luggage and practical support at stops deserve attention when preparing it for time away.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati Multistrada 1260 S Grand Tour

For touring, start with the accessories that make a difference throughout a full day in the saddle. Cosmetic changes can follow once you have addressed the demands of your usual journeys.

• Screens: sustained motorway riding makes airflow around your upper body particularly noticeable. A screen helps divert that airflow, while its height needs to leave you a clear view of the road when the route turns into a series of mountain bends.
• Protectors: manoeuvring with holiday luggage adds another consideration at fuel stops and overnight parking spots. Protectors help limit damage to the areas they cover in a stationary fall, which matters when you still have several days of riding ahead.
• Luggage: multi-day trips require room for overnight essentials, especially when packing for two. Cases help organise that load; keeping items needed during roadside breaks accessible saves unpacking everything each time you stop along the way.
• Stands: secure support is useful when loading or unloading a touring motorcycle at the start and end of each day. These accessories deserve consideration for frequent overnight stops, although choosing firm, level ground remains important when parking with luggage aboard.
• Levers: winding roads and town traffic call for repeated use of the brake and clutch, even on a mainly long-distance trip. A shape and reach that suit your hands help keep those controls comfortable to operate with your touring gloves on.
