Accessories for the Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled

The Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled brings an adventurous approach to scrambler riding, combining everyday road use with outings on unpaved tracks. Preparing it for that mix means looking beyond appearance. Riding position, boot support and protection all matter when a day out takes you from winding tarmac onto loose surfaces.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled

• Guards and crash protection: these can help limit damage to the areas they cover during a low-speed fall or tip-over. They are particularly relevant if your Desert Sled regularly leaves the road for uneven tracks and loose ground.
• Handlebars: bar choice helps shape your hand position and reach to the controls. For mixed-surface riding, the aim is a position that works while seated on the road without making standing up on the pegs feel awkward.
• Footpegs: your boots become important contact points when switching between seated and standing riding. On the Desert Sled, footpegs help define where your feet sit and how you support yourself as the bike moves beneath you on tracks.
• Screens: worth considering when reaching the trails involves a lengthy road ride. A screen can take some wind pressure off your upper body, making the tarmac part of a mixed-surface outing less tiring.
• Levers: the way your fingers meet the brake and clutch controls matters when moving between town traffic, bends and slow sections on dirt. Levers are therefore part of setting up the Desert Sled for the riding you actually do.

Choosing parts for your Desert Sled's year

The Desert Sled has changed over the years, and the 2017-2020 and 2021 versions do not always take the same parts. Exhausts and filters are examples of accessories that are not suitable for every version. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only accessories that fit yours.
