Accessories for the Ducati Scrambler Flat Track Pro

The Ducati Scrambler Flat Track Pro brings flat-track looks to a bike suited to road riding. It makes sense for journeys across town as well as a ride out on winding roads. That mix of everyday use and riding for pleasure gives you a useful starting point for choosing accessories: think about what you see in traffic, how the bike feels when slowing down and where you place your feet, alongside the look you want to keep.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati Scrambler Flat Track Pro

With this Scrambler, the most useful changes need not be large ones. The accessory types here address different parts of the ride, from negotiating busy streets to settling into a rhythm on country roads:

• Mirrors: can complement the Flat Track Pro’s distinctive styling while giving you a view of what is behind. Their position is worth thinking about when filtering through town or changing lanes in traffic.
• Brakes: are relevant when a ride moves between frequent stops at junctions and a succession of bends. Brake components are an area to consider if the feel of slowing down matters to you.
• Transmission: deserves attention on a bike ridden regularly rather than kept for occasional outings. A consistent connection between the engine and rear wheel is particularly noticeable when accelerating out of bends.
• Crash protection: makes practical sense if parking and low-speed manoeuvres are part of your routine. Protectors can help shield exposed areas if the bike tips over while stationary or during a manoeuvre.
• Footpegs: provide the contact point for your feet in stop-start traffic and when shifting your position through bends. Their shape affects how you support yourself on the bike.

Rather than changing everything at once, start with the part of your riding you notice most. That keeps the Scrambler’s flat-track character in view while making its details work for your journeys.
