Accessories for the Ducati Streetfighter 1100 S

The Ducati Streetfighter 1100 S is a sporty naked that lends itself to winding-road rides as well as day-to-day journeys. When choosing accessories for that mix, wind exposure, comfort at the controls and protection for exposed parts are useful starting points. Visual changes suit its sporting character, but the way you use the bike should set the priorities.

What riders usually fit to the Ducati Streetfighter 1100 S

• Screens: Motorway miles on the way to a favourite stretch of bends can make wind exposure more noticeable on a naked. A screen helps deflect some of the airflow away from your torso, making it a useful addition when your Streetfighter rides start taking you further afield.
• Crash protection: A Streetfighter used for both weekend rides and urban journeys also spends time being parked and manoeuvred at low speed. Protectors can help limit damage to the areas they cover in a fall, putting a practical priority ahead of purely visual modifications.
• Levers: Twisting roads call for frequent use of the controls, while city traffic adds repeated clutch work. Lever shape and reach deserve attention on a bike used for both, particularly if comfort at your fingertips matters as much to you as the appearance of the cockpit.
• Handlebars: Your hand position needs to work through bends and between traffic lights. The handlebar influences where your arms and wrists sit, so it makes sense to consider it alongside the levers rather than treating riding position and access to the controls as separate decisions.
• Number plate holders: Changing the number plate holder is one way to alter the visual outline of the rear end. It suits a Streetfighter project focused on the bike’s sporty appearance, especially once you have addressed the riding position and protection that matter for your usual journeys.
