Accessories for the Fantic Caballero Rally 500

The Fantic Caballero Rally 500 is a scrambler suited to riding on roads and tracks. That mix gives you a useful starting point when choosing accessories: think about how the bike feels when the surface changes, where you place your hands while riding and what you need when the ride is over. A part chosen for days on tarmac may answer a different need from one chosen for regular stretches on unpaved routes.

What riders usually fit to the Fantic Caballero Rally 500

The accessories here cover both time in the saddle and the hours when the bike is parked. Rather than treating them as a checklist, it helps to consider which aspect of riding your Caballero Rally 500 you want to address first:

• Suspension: on routes that move between tarmac and tracks, suspension feel is particularly noticeable as the surface changes. Options from Öhlins are worth considering if that part of the ride matters to you, especially when your usual outings include both kinds of terrain.
• Handlebars: hand position affects how you settle into a road ride and how you hold the bike when standing on the pegs along a track. A handlebar is therefore a considered choice for riders paying attention to their position on mixed-surface journeys.
• Exhausts: an exhaust can change the bike’s appearance and sound. On a scrambler with a distinctive look, it offers a way to make the Caballero Rally 500 feel more your own; Mivv is among the accessory brands available.
• Covers and blankets: riding is only part of the routine. If your bike spends time parked between outings, a cover is relevant to how you keep it when it is not in use, rather than how it behaves on the road.

If your rides regularly include tracks, suspension and handlebar choices may be the most relevant place to start. For a bike used mainly on the road or kept parked for long periods, the balance of priorities may be different.
