Accessories for the GasGas EX300

For riders taking the GasGas EX300 onto tracks and uneven ground, useful accessories are often the ones that help protect the bike, keep the controls comfortable and make post-ride care easier. Loose surfaces, muddy sections and stops on awkward ground all shape what is worth fitting. Rather than adding equipment for the sake of it, it helps to think about the riding you do and the attention the bike needs once you get home.

What riders usually fit to the GasGas EX300

• Protectors: a slow-speed spill or an unexpected knock is easier to encounter when a route includes ruts and loose ground. Protectors help shield exposed areas of the EX300, particularly on rides where you spend time picking a line around obstacles.
• Levers: the feel of the controls matters when you are standing on the pegs, adjusting your line or riding through repeated bends on dirt. Levers are also exposed in a fall, so they are worth considering if off-road outings are a regular part of your riding.
• Stands and side stands: a dependable way to support the bike makes cleaning off mud and checking it after a ride less awkward. It can also be useful during a break on a route, where the ground may be less level or firm than at home.
• Mirrors: keeping an eye on what is behind you can be helpful when you share a track with other riders or vehicles. They are especially relevant if your usual rides move between quiet stretches and busier places where awareness of those following matters.

The right mix depends on where you ride and what happens afterwards. Protection on the trail and a practical routine once the EX300 is parked are both worth keeping in mind.
