Accessories for the GASGAS EX450F

What you fit to a GASGAS EX450F depends on where you ride it and which parts of the bike take the most punishment. Uneven ground makes protection worth considering, while riding alongside other traffic puts rearward visibility into focus. Your levers matter for a different reason: they are the controls you use repeatedly as conditions change. Thinking about those distinct jobs helps you choose accessories that serve the way you actually use the bike, rather than adding parts simply because they are available.

What riders usually fit to the GASGAS EX450F

• Protectors: on routes with loose stones, ruts or narrow sections, exposed areas can come into contact with the ground or nearby obstacles. Protection is particularly relevant if your usual rides involve negotiating such sections at low speed, where a small slip or a knock can interrupt your ride. Consider which areas are most exposed on the ground you regularly cover, rather than treating every route as though it presents the same risks.
• Levers: brake and clutch inputs need to feel manageable when you are adjusting your pace over changing surfaces. Lever position matters if you spend part of a ride standing up, as your reach to the controls can feel different from when you are seated. They are also worth thinking about if repeated use leaves your fingers working harder than necessary on longer outings.
• Mirrors: a clear view behind you becomes useful when a ride includes sections shared with other vehicles. Think about where a mirror sits in relation to the handlebars and whether you can see into it from the position in which you normally ride. If you move between seated and standing riding, its placement can make a noticeable difference to how easily you check what is behind you.

For this model, protection, control feel and rearward visibility each address a different part of the ride. The most relevant choice is the one that reflects the terrain and riding positions you encounter most often.
