Accessories for GILERA DNA 125

Accessories for the Gilera DNA 125

The Gilera DNA 125 is a sporty-looking scooter that lends itself to everyday journeys and rides out on the road. How you use it makes a difference to what is worth fitting. Braking parts matter when your week includes stop-start streets as well as bends, while protection from the weather is relevant if you park outside or keep riding through colder months. This page brings together accessories for the DNA 125 from 2001 to 2003, so you can focus on this bike rather than parts intended for a different model.

What riders usually fit to the Gilera DNA 125

With this scooter, it helps to start with your usual route and where the bike spends its time between rides. A short commute through town puts different demands on it from an afternoon spent riding between bends.

• Brakes: worth considering if the DNA 125 is both your way across town and a scooter you take out for a ride. Traffic brings frequent stops, whereas a winding road calls for measured braking as you approach each corner. Braking is among the accessory brands represented for this model if you are looking at brake parts.
• Covers and leg blankets: address two familiar aspects of regular scooter use. A cover is useful when the DNA 125 is parked outside between journeys; a leg blanket is about making rides in colder weather more comfortable. Think about whether your main concern is protecting the parked scooter or dealing with the conditions you ride in. Tucano Urbano is one of the brands listed for this bike.
• Handlebar parts: make sense to consider in light of how often you steer and manoeuvre in town. On a longer ride, your hand position also contributes to how comfortable you feel on the scooter. If you divide your time between urban streets and the open road, this is an area to consider alongside braking rather than treating it as a purely cosmetic change.

The most useful choice depends on whether you want to address the ride itself, colder journeys or the hours your DNA 125 spends parked. Keep those everyday situations in mind as you look through the accessories.
