Accessories for the Gilera Nexus 250 i.e.

The Gilera Nexus 250 i.e. is a scooter suited to everyday journeys around town as well as rides on the road. That mix of uses matters when choosing accessories. Frequent stops put the focus on parking security, while colder journeys and longer stretches of riding bring weather protection and comfort at the controls into the picture. The most useful addition depends on where you ride and what happens between rides.

What riders usually fit to the Gilera Nexus 250 i.e.

The accessories available for this scooter cover four practical areas. Rather than treating them as a checklist, it helps to think about the moments when you use the Nexus most:

• Security locks: worth considering if your scooter is parked outside the office, at the shops or between errands. With several stops in one day, securing it becomes part of your routine rather than something you only think about when leaving it overnight.
• Handlebar accessories: the controls are where you interact with the scooter on every ride, from slow turns in traffic to a longer run out of town. This category is relevant if you want to pay particular attention to the area you use constantly while steering and manoeuvring.
• Exhausts: an option for changing the look or sound of your Nexus 250 i.e. while keeping it as the scooter you use for ordinary journeys. Think about whether that change is something you want to live with on daily rides, not just on an occasional trip.
• Covers and leg covers: these serve different parts of the day. A cover helps protect the scooter when it is parked outdoors; a leg cover is useful when you keep riding through colder weather, particularly on regular trips across town.

The Nexus 250 i.e. is listed here for 2006 to 2008. Whether most of your riding is in traffic or includes longer road journeys, start with the accessories that address the parts of that routine you notice most.
