Accessories for GILERA RUNNER

Accessories for the Gilera Runner

The Gilera Runner is a sporty scooter that suits everyday journeys as well as rides beyond town. What you fit depends on where you spend most of your time: navigating busy streets, leaving the scooter parked during the day or riding on faster roads. The right accessories can make those routines easier without getting in the way of the Runner’s usefulness as a scooter you ride regularly.

What riders usually fit to the Gilera Runner

For a scooter used around town and occasionally further afield, these are the accessories worth considering first:

• Phone mounts: handy when you rely on directions to get across town or find an unfamiliar address. Keeping the route in view is particularly useful on journeys with frequent turns and junctions.
• Protectors: help look after exposed areas when manoeuvring the Runner into a tight parking space or dealing with the minor knocks that can come with daily urban use.
• Security locks: make sense if the scooter is left outside while you work or run errands. For a Runner used on several short trips a day, it is worth thinking about how conveniently you can carry and use the lock.
• Screens: offer more shelter from the wind on faster stretches. They are particularly relevant if your usual route takes you from city streets onto open roads, where the airflow becomes more noticeable.
• Covers and leg covers: a leg cover can make colder commutes more comfortable, while a scooter cover is useful when the Runner spends time parked outdoors between rides.
• Exhausts: appeal to riders looking to change the scooter’s appearance or sound. On a Runner used every day, consider the sort of journeys you make before deciding whether that change suits you.

If most of your riding is a commute, start with the things you encounter on every journey: directions, parking, wind and cold weather. That gives you a useful way to decide which accessory matters most to you.
