Accessories for the Harley-Davidson CVO Road King FLHRSE

The Harley-Davidson CVO Road King FLHRSE is a touring motorcycle that lends itself to unhurried days on the road. On a bike used for longer rides, the way it feels after several hours matters just as much as its response on a short run. Riding with a passenger, carrying luggage or covering uneven stretches of tarmac can all shape what you want from an accessory. That is why it makes sense to focus on how the bike rides, rather than on changes made purely for appearance.

This page brings together accessories for the 2013 and 2014 CVO Road King FLHRSE. Think about where you spend most of your time on it: steady miles, winding roads or journeys with a changing load. Those situations put different demands on the ride, even when your destination is the same.

What riders usually fit to the Harley-Davidson CVO Road King FLHRSE

Suspension is worth particular attention on a touring bike like this one. It influences how the ride feels as the miles add up and how settled the motorcycle feels when the road surface changes. That can matter on a long day as much as it does through a series of bends.

• Suspension: an option to consider if you want to focus on comfort and the way your CVO Road King FLHRSE responds on the road. It is especially relevant if you often ride two-up, carry luggage or travel over mixed surfaces. Öhlins suspension is among the accessories available for this model; the useful starting point is what you notice most on the journeys you actually make.

For touring, consider how the bike feels several hours into a ride, rather than judging it only on a brief outing. On a winding route, pay attention to your sense of control through changes of direction and over rough patches. Both are practical ways to think about suspension on this Road King without losing sight of how you use it.
