Accessories for the Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider S FXDLS

The Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider S FXDLS is a custom bike with a distinctly road-focused appeal. On rides like these, how you sit, how the bike feels over uneven surfaces and how exposed parts are protected all matter. That makes practical accessories worth considering alongside changes to the riding position: they can shape the experience of a longer outing as well as everyday manoeuvres.

What riders usually fit to the Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider S FXDLS

Whether your rides take you out onto open roads or through town on the way home, these are some of the accessories that make sense for this bike:

• Protectors: help shield exposed areas from minor knocks and scuffs, particularly when moving the bike into a tight parking space at the end of a ride.
• Crash bars and sliders: add protection around the sides. They are worth considering if your road rides also involve negotiating traffic and confined parking areas.
• Suspension: deserves thought if your usual roads include broken surfaces or a succession of bends. How the bike feels over those stretches can affect your enjoyment of the whole ride.
• Handlebars: affect the reach to the grips and the position of your arms and back. That can become especially noticeable over distance, while also changing how manoeuvres feel at low speed.
• Mirrors: help you find a useful rearward view from your riding position, whether you are joining traffic or keeping track of vehicles behind you on the road.

2016-2017 and 2020-2024 versions

The bike has changed over the years, so parts for the 2016-2017 and 2020-2024 versions are not necessarily interchangeable. Suspension and handlebar parts are particular examples: a part intended for one version should not be assumed to fit the other.
