Accessories for HARLEY DAVIDSON DYNA SUPER GLIDE FXD

Accessories for the Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide FXD

The Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide FXD is a custom bike suited to unhurried rides as well as everyday journeys. How you ride it makes a difference to the accessories worth considering. Suspension matters when a short trip turns into a day on the road, while protection can be useful around parking spaces and tight manoeuvres. Other parts let you focus on your riding position or on how the bike stands when parked.

What riders usually fit to the Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide FXD

• Suspension: worth considering if your FXD covers rough urban streets and longer stretches of road. It is a way to focus on how the bike deals with bumps and how the ride feels over distance.
• Protectors: help shield exposed areas of the bike. They make sense for a custom that regularly moves between narrow streets, parking spaces and the stops that come with everyday riding.
• Crash protection: guards specific points against knocks or a tip-over while stationary. It is particularly relevant if you often have to manoeuvre the Dyna Super Glide FXD in confined spaces.
• Handlebars: affect where your arms sit as the miles add up. On a bike you may take out simply to enjoy the road, they are worth a look when thinking about your riding position.
• Stands and side stands: concern how the bike is supported once the ride is over. Consider them if you park your FXD in different places or are planning work on the bike.

Different years, different parts

The Dyna Super Glide FXD has changed over time, with versions from 1991-1994, 1995-2010 and 2011-2017. Protectors, crash protection and stands are among the parts that may not fit every version. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only accessories that fit yours.

For everyday city use, protection may be the first priority; for longer rides, suspension and riding position may deserve more thought.
