Accessories for HARLEY DAVIDSON DYNA WIDE GLIDE

Accessories for the Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide

The Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide is a custom cruiser that lends itself to unhurried rides, whether you are out for an afternoon or spending most of the day on the road. How it feels over uneven surfaces, where your arms rest and how much wind you face all matter when the miles add up. That makes practical accessories worth considering alongside anything you fit for its appearance.

What riders usually fit to the Harley-Davidson Dyna Wide Glide

For the 1993–1998 Dyna Wide Glide, these accessory types suit the way a cruiser is ridden, from familiar local roads to longer trips:

• Suspension: worth considering if you want to change how the bike responds to rougher stretches of road. Over a full day’s riding, the feel of the bike over bumps can make a noticeable difference to comfort.
• Protectors: help look after exposed areas during minor knocks and scrapes. They make particular sense if your rides also involve parking and manoeuvring around town.
• Handlebars: affect where your hands sit and how you hold your upper body. On the Dyna Wide Glide, that riding position deserves thought if you regularly stay in the saddle for hours.
• Mirrors: let you adjust your view behind to suit your riding position. A clear view is useful when joining traffic in town as well as when keeping track of vehicles on the open road.
• Screens: can take some of the wind off your body on faster roads. They are particularly relevant if a relaxed weekend ride often turns into a longer journey.
• Stands and side stands: concern how the bike is supported when parked. They are worth a look if you use your Harley-Davidson often and make several stops while you are out.

Whether you mainly take short rides or set aside whole days for the road, the most useful additions are the ones that address how you actually spend time on this bike.
