Accessories for the Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic FLHTCU

The Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic FLHTCU is a touring motorcycle built for spending long hours on the road, whether you travel alone or with a pillion. On those journeys, suspension has a direct bearing on how the ride feels over uneven surfaces and how comfortable you feel by the end of the day. That makes the way you use the bike a useful starting point when looking at accessories: a short solo ride places different demands on it from a multi-day trip with a passenger.

What riders usually fit to the Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic FLHTCU

Here you can find suspension accessories for the Electra Glide Ultra Classic FLHTCU, including options from Öhlins. Suspension deserves particular attention on a touring bike: you spend a long time in the saddle, while a pillion and luggage can alter the load you carry. Consider the journeys you make most often rather than focusing on just one stretch of road.

• Suspension for longer journeys: it helps manage bumps and uneven tarmac over successive miles. If you use your Electra Glide to link together days of riding, comfort on a rough section matters, but so does how the bike feels for the hours that follow.
• Suspension for riding two-up: carrying a pillion or packing for a trip is different from heading out on your own. It is worth thinking about suspension if you regularly switch between those uses and want the journey to feel comfortable for both people on the bike.

Think about whether your usual rides involve back roads, sustained motorway miles or a mixture of both. The conditions you encounter most often provide a clearer guide to what you want from the suspension on your Electra Glide Ultra Classic FLHTCU.
