Accessories for the Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low / FLHTCUL

The Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low / FLHTCUL is a touring motorcycle suited to long days on the road. Whether you ride solo, travel with a pillion or move between motorways and uneven back roads, suspension has a part to play in how the journey feels. That makes the way you actually use the bike a useful starting point when looking at accessories: a short local ride and a full day of touring can place very different demands on it.

What riders usually fit to the Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low / FLHTCUL

Suspension is the accessory type available here, including options from Öhlins. On a touring bike, its role goes beyond smoothing out the occasional bump. Road surfaces change over the course of a journey, and so can the load you carry. Thinking about where you ride and whether someone regularly travels with you helps put suspension choices in context, rather than treating every outing as though it were the same.

• Suspension: helps the bike deal with uneven tarmac and contributes to stability and riding comfort. For the Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low / FLHTCUL, consider the stretches that make up your usual rides: sustained motorway miles, rougher secondary roads or trips with a pillion and luggage. What feels comfortable on a brief ride may not be what you want after hours in the saddle, so the distances you cover matter as much as the roads themselves.

The suspension options on this page are for the 2015 and 2016 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic Low / FLHTCUL. Keeping your usual journeys in mind will help you focus on what matters for your riding, particularly if you often switch between solo trips and travelling with a pillion.
