Accessories for the Harley-Davidson FLHTK Electra Glide Ultra Limited

The Harley-Davidson FLHTK Electra Glide Ultra Limited is a touring motorcycle built for covering distance, including trips with a passenger. On a long ride, the way the bike feels over the road matters whether you are cruising on a motorway or following a series of bends with luggage. That makes it worth thinking about which part of the riding experience you want to address before choosing an accessory.

What riders usually fit to the Harley-Davidson FLHTK Electra Glide Ultra Limited

The accessories available for this model focus on two quite different areas: suspension and exhausts. One relates to how the bike responds on the road; the other is about the sound that accompanies you throughout a ride.

• Suspension: long days in the saddle make the bike’s response to uneven roads particularly noticeable. A rider who usually travels alone may have different priorities from someone who regularly carries a passenger and luggage. If your journeys include both, consider how you want the motorcycle to feel over bumps and through bends rather than treating every outing as the same kind of ride.
• Exhausts: on an Electra Glide Ultra Limited, the exhaust note forms part of the experience for hours at a time, not just when you set off. This is the area to consider if you want to change the bike’s sound and touring character. It serves a different purpose from suspension work, so it helps to be clear about which aspect of a long journey matters to you.

Öhlins and Mivv are among the accessory brands listed for this motorcycle. Think about your usual miles before deciding where to focus: a ride with a passenger and luggage can highlight different priorities from a solo day out, even on the same familiar roads.
