Accessories for the Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic FLSTC

The Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic FLSTC is a custom motorcycle well suited to unhurried road riding. A short outing on a bike like this can easily turn into a full day away, taking in town traffic, open roads and stops along the way. That mix of riding gives you a useful way to think about accessories: how the bike feels when you slow down, how comfortable it is over longer distances and how clearly you signal your intentions to other road users.

What riders usually fit to the Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail Classic FLSTC

• Brakes: whether you are easing through a busy town or approaching a bend on a longer ride, braking is central to feeling at ease on the road. It is worth giving this area particular thought if your journeys regularly alternate between open stretches and stop-start traffic, or if you often ride with a passenger. Braking is among the accessory brands available for this motorcycle.
• Suspension: long hours in the saddle make road surfaces more noticeable, especially when a route includes rougher patches as well as smoother tarmac. Suspension accessories are particularly relevant if you use the Heritage Softail Classic FLSTC for days out and sometimes carry a passenger. They let you focus on ride comfort and road feel rather than simply on the bike’s appearance. Öhlins is one of the brands represented here.
• Indicators: signalling clearly matters on the way out of town, at junctions and whenever a road trip takes you through unfamiliar streets. Indicators are also worth considering if you want to give the bike a different look while keeping everyday riding in mind. Think about the places where you make most of your turns: urban traffic, lane changes or the approach to a stop during a longer ride.
