Accessories for the Harley-Davidson Road Glide FLTRX

Long days on the road shape how you equip a Harley-Davidson Road Glide FLTRX. This custom-style touring motorcycle suits weekend escapes and longer trips, where wind protection, comfort and luggage space matter more than they do on a short local ride. Whether you travel solo or with a pillion also influences which accessories deserve priority, particularly when packing for several nights away.

What riders usually fit to the Harley-Davidson Road Glide FLTRX

• Windscreens: Sustained motorway riding makes airflow an important part of touring comfort. A screen helps manage the wind reaching your upper body; on the Road Glide, its height in relation to your usual riding position matters, alongside a clear view of the road ahead.
• Suspension: Solo weekend rides and fully loaded two-up trips place different demands on a touring bike. Suspension components are worth considering when preparing your Road Glide for long-distance use, with comfort and control both relevant when the route switches from motorways to winding roads.
• Protectors: Touring still involves slow manoeuvres at fuel stops, parking outside accommodation and riding through town. Protectors help shield exposed areas against minor knocks or low-speed falls, addressing the less glamorous but unavoidable parts of travelling on your Road Glide.
• Luggage: Multi-day journeys call for somewhere to organise clothing and the things you need at each stop. When travelling with a pillion, planning luggage space helps accommodate both riders' belongings without relying on a rucksack worn for hours at a time.

Choosing parts for your Road Glide FLTRX model year

The Road Glide FLTRX has changed over the years, and the 1990-2014, 2015-2023 and 2024-2026 versions do not all take the same parts. Windscreens, protectors and luggage are examples of accessories that differ between versions. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours, rather than relying on the Road Glide name alone.
