Accessories for the Harley-Davidson Softail Blackline FXS

The Harley-Davidson Softail Blackline FXS is a custom cruiser with a distinctive look, well suited to unhurried rides on the road. What you fit to it affects both how comfortable those rides feel and how the bike looks when you stop. It helps to think about the time you spend riding at a steady speed, how often you park and which exposed areas you would like to protect.

What riders usually fit to the Harley-Davidson Softail Blackline FXS

The accessories available for this Softail focus on protection, managing airflow and supporting the bike when it is parked. Those priorities can shift with the way you ride: a short run along local roads places different demands on the bike from a full day covering miles in the saddle.

• Protectors: worth considering if you want to shield exposed areas while using the Blackline FXS for regular rides and frequent stops. On a custom bike, the practical purpose matters, but so does the way an added part sits alongside the lines you see every time you walk up to it.
• Screens: useful when wind pressure becomes noticeable on open roads or over longer distances. The Blackline FXS has an uncluttered custom look, so the decision is as much about how much shelter your usual riding calls for as it is about the appearance you want to keep.
• Stands and side stands: concerned with supporting the bike when it is parked or when you are working around it. Think about the places where you normally stop during a ride and where you keep the bike between outings; those situations help clarify what sort of support matters to you.

If your rides regularly involve long stretches of open road, a screen may be the first thing to consider. For a routine with plenty of stops, protection and parking support may be more relevant. Each choice can serve the way you actually use the Blackline FXS.
