Accessories for the Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe FLDE

The Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe FLDE is a custom motorcycle suited to unhurried rides, from a weekend outing to a longer journey. What you fit depends on how you spend your time in the saddle: carrying a few things for a trip, considering your riding position or protecting exposed areas can each matter for different reasons.

What riders usually fit to the Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe FLDE

• Protectors: worth considering if you ride the Deluxe FLDE regularly and want to look after vulnerable areas during everyday manoeuvres, such as moving or parking the bike.
• Handlebars: affect the position of your arms and back. On a custom motorcycle you may ride for hours at a time, how the bars feel deserves careful thought.
• Lighting: matters if a ride takes you home after dark or along poorly lit roads. Think about the conditions you actually ride in rather than appearance alone.
• Indicators: offer a way to shape the bike's look while keeping your intentions clear to other road users, particularly when turning or joining traffic in town.
• Suspension: may be of interest if you switch between short rides, full days on the road and trips with a passenger, when the way the bike feels can take on greater importance.
• Luggage: gives you somewhere to put what you need for a night away without carrying it on your back, making a longer ride easier to plan.

Softail Deluxe FLDE versions by year

The bike has changed over the years, with 2011-2017 and 2018-2021 versions. Parts such as protectors, lighting and indicators therefore do not necessarily fit both. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours, then focus on what would be useful for your rides.
