Accessories for the Harley-Davidson Softail Fat Bob FXFB/S

The Harley-Davidson Softail Fat Bob FXFB/S is a custom bike suited to everyday journeys as well as time out on the open road. What you fit depends on how you ride: protecting exposed areas may matter most in town, while your riding position and carrying space may come to the fore on longer runs.

What riders usually fit to the Harley-Davidson Softail Fat Bob FXFB/S

• Protection: worth considering if your Fat Bob sees regular use around town, where parking and low-speed manoeuvres put exposed parts of the bike on your mind.
• Suspension: gives you a way to tailor how the bike feels on familiar roads, whether your rides are unhurried cruises or include stretches of winding tarmac.
• Handlebars: make a difference to riding position and the way you hold the bike. They are particularly relevant if you want a different feel on longer journeys.
• Lighting: an area to consider when your rides start before daylight, end after dark or regularly take you beyond well-lit streets.
• Indicators: can help shape the look of this custom while retaining a clear way to signal turns in traffic and on the road.
• Luggage: useful for carrying clothes and personal items on a weekend ride rather than keeping everything on your back throughout the journey.

Fat Bob versions: why the year matters

The Fat Bob has changed over the years, and parts for the 2013–2017 and 2018–2022 versions are not always interchangeable. Protection, suspension and lighting are particular areas where this matters. Choose your bike’s year on this page to see only the accessories that fit yours.

That leaves you free to focus on the changes that suit the way you ride, with the right version of the bike in mind.
