Accessories for the Harley-Davidson Softail Sport Glide FLSB

The Harley-Davidson Softail Sport Glide FLSB brings cruiser character to weekend rides and longer touring trips, without ruling out everyday journeys. The right additions depend on where those miles take you: town riding puts the focus on manoeuvring and riding position, while extended days on the road make wind protection and comfort more important. Carrying a pillion also gives you a different set of priorities from riding solo.

What riders usually fit to the Harley-Davidson Softail Sport Glide FLSB

• Handlebars: On a cruiser used for full days out, reach to the grips matters as much as appearance. A different handlebar can alter your arm and upper-body position, so consider both relaxed road riding and the steering movements needed around town.
• Screens: Worth considering when your rides involve motorway stretches or sustained time on open roads. Screen height and shape influence airflow around the rider, making this a useful area to address when preparing the Sport Glide for longer journeys.
• Protectors: Parking manoeuvres, urban journeys and frequent stops on tour all give exposed parts opportunities to pick up knocks or scuffs. Protection serves a practical purpose on a cruiser that sees regular use rather than occasional outings.
• Lighting: Early departures and rides that run into the evening make lighting more than a styling detail. It deserves particular attention if your touring routes take you away from lit streets and onto darker country roads.
• Suspension: Comfort on uneven surfaces becomes more noticeable as daily mileage grows. For Sport Glide riders who alternate solo outings with pillion trips, suspension is worth considering alongside riding position when planning a touring-focused setup.

Model years and choosing the right parts

The bike has changed over the years, so the 2013-2017 and 2018-2023 versions do not always take the same parts. Screens, protectors and lighting are examples where fitment can differ. Choose your bike’s year on this page to see only the accessories that fit your Sport Glide.
