Accessories for the Harley-Davidson Softail Street Bob FXBB/S

The Harley-Davidson Softail Street Bob FXBB/S is a custom bike at home on unhurried rides and everyday journeys. What you fit to it depends less on a fixed list of upgrades than on the way you spend time in the saddle. A weekend ride with several stops calls for different priorities from regular trips through town, especially when you consider where you park and what time of day you tend to travel. The accessories below address those practical parts of riding without changing the character that draws people to the Street Bob.

What riders usually fit to the Harley-Davidson Softail Street Bob FXBB/S

• Protection: on a bike used for both open-road rides and stops in town, protecting exposed areas is a sensible consideration. It is particularly relevant if your usual journeys involve tight parking spaces or frequent stops along the way.
• Lighting: setting off early or returning after dusk makes visibility part of the ride, not an afterthought. Lighting accessories let you focus on how the Street Bob fits those hours, whether you are crossing town or finishing a longer route.
• Stands and sidestands: parking is part of every journey, and it becomes more noticeable when a ride includes several stops. These accessories address how the bike is supported when stationary, from everyday parking to breaks on a day out.

If longer rides are your priority, consider the points at which you stop as well as the miles between them. For frequent urban use, where you leave the bike and when you ride may be more useful starting points. Puig is among the accessory brands available for this model.
