Accessories for the Harley-Davidson Street Rod XG750A

The Harley-Davidson Street Rod XG750A is a street-focused custom bike, at home on everyday rides and enjoyable on a stretch of open road. That mix shapes the accessories worth considering. Parking and low-speed manoeuvres bring different priorities from riding through bends, while looking after the bike between outings matters too. Protectors, stands and suspension options each address a different part of life with the Street Rod.

What riders usually fit to the Harley-Davidson Street Rod XG750A

There is no need to turn this bike into a touring machine to make it more practical. Think about where you park, whether you work on it at home and how often your rides take you beyond the city.

• Protectors: tight parking spaces, frequent stops and slow turns are familiar parts of urban riding. Protectors can help limit the effect of a scuff or low-speed drop on vulnerable areas of the Street Rod, making them relevant even if most of your miles are short local trips.
• Stands and side stands: a suitable means of supporting the bike is useful when parking is part of your daily routine or you set aside time to clean and care for it. For a Street Rod XG750A used regularly, these accessories are about the moments before and after the ride as much as the ride itself.
• Suspension: on a winding road, the way the bike responds to changes in surface and pace becomes more noticeable. Suspension options are worth considering if those rides matter to you and you want to focus on how your Street Rod feels rather than just how it looks.

Puig and Öhlins are among the accessory brands available for this model. Start with the riding you actually do: everyday city journeys may point you towards different additions from regular trips out on the open road.
