Accessories for the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP

The Honda CB1000 Hornet SP is a sports-focused naked bike suited to everyday journeys as well as days out on winding roads. Those two roles call for different priorities: wind protection matters on longer stretches, while comfortable controls earn their keep in stop-start traffic. Choosing accessories around the way you ride keeps the focus on useful changes rather than treating every addition as a styling exercise.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CB1000 Hornet SP

• Screens: If reaching your favourite roads involves a motorway journey, a screen helps deflect some of the airflow away from your upper body. It is a practical addition when longer rides are a regular part of life with this naked bike.
• Protectors: These help limit damage to the areas they cover if the bike goes down. For a Hornet SP used around town, low-speed spills and awkward parking manoeuvres make protection worth considering alongside the more visually striking accessories.
• Levers: Frequent clutch use in traffic puts a different demand on your hands from braking for bends on an open road. Lever shape is therefore relevant to everyday comfort, not just the appearance of the Hornet’s controls.
• Footrests: Your feet need a supportive contact point as you move your body through a series of bends. For sporty road riding on the Hornet SP, the footrest surface matters alongside how comfortable that support feels over a full day.
• Number plate holders: These offer a way to give the rear of this naked bike a cleaner look and emphasise its sporting character. Indicators and mirrors can carry the same styling approach through to other visible areas of the bike.
