Accessories for the Honda CB1000R Neo Sports Café

The Honda CB1000R Neo Sports Café suits weekday journeys as well as weekend rides on winding roads. As a naked bike, it calls for a different approach to accessories than a touring machine: managing wind exposure, protecting exposed areas and refining your contact with the bike take priority. Appearance matters too, since so many of the fitted parts remain visible.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CB1000R Neo Sports Café

Your regular routes are a useful starting point. A commute with a long motorway section puts different demands on the bike from a short urban journey or an afternoon exploring country lanes.

• Screens: a screen helps deflect some of the airflow that reaches you on an unfaired bike. It makes particular sense for a CB1000R used on faster roads, including the motorway miles between home and your favourite riding routes.
• Protectors and crash bobbins: these can help limit damage to specific areas during a stationary drop or low-speed fall. They are worth considering for daily urban use, where parking and manoeuvring in confined spaces are part of the routine.
• Levers and footrests: these accessories focus on the ergonomics of your contact points. Frequent control inputs make levers relevant in town, while foot support also deserves attention when you use your body position through a sequence of bends.
• Number plate holders: changing the holder alters the visual finish of the rear end. On the CB1000R Neo Sports Café, the exposed nature of the naked-bike design gives details like this a noticeable role in its overall appearance.
• Phone mounts: having navigation in view is useful when finding an unfamiliar city address or linking country roads on a weekend ride. Set the route before you leave so there is no need to operate the phone while riding.
