Accessories for the Honda CB1100 RS

The Honda CB1100 RS brings classic styling to the naked road bike format, making it a natural fit for everyday journeys and weekend rides on winding roads. Those two uses put the focus on wind protection, comfort at the controls and protection against low-speed mishaps. Appearance matters too: well-chosen accessories can sit comfortably with its retro character rather than dominate the bike's look.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CB1100 RS

• Screens: On motorway stretches and longer days out, a screen helps take wind pressure off your upper body. For a classic naked such as the CB1100 RS, its size also matters visually, as it can noticeably alter the front end's appearance.
• Protectors: Parking, slow turns and stop-start town riding are all situations where a dropped bike can suffer damage to exposed areas. Protection makes practical sense on a CB1100 RS used for daily transport, where cosmetic changes are not the only priority.
• Handlebars: Bar choice helps shape the riding position for town journeys or time on winding roads. Where your hands sit affects how far you lean forward, so this is a useful area to focus on if your usual rides involve repeated manoeuvres or longer stretches in the saddle.
• Levers: Frequent clutch and brake use in traffic makes comfort at your fingertips worth considering. For everyday riding on this Honda, how the controls feel in your hand is a more useful starting point than matching finishes alone.
• Mirrors: On a naked bike with classic styling, mirrors are a prominent part of the overall look. They can change the appearance of the cockpit, but daily commuting and joining faster roads call for a useful rearward view as well as a neat finish.
