Accessories for the Honda CB1300

The Honda CB1300 is a naked bike suited to open-road rides as well as everyday journeys. The right additions depend on which takes up most of your riding time. For commuting, comfortable controls and protection make sense; for longer weekends away, wind protection and somewhere to carry your kit become more useful.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CB1300

• Screens: a screen can redirect some of the airflow away from your upper body, particularly useful on a naked bike when a route includes motorway links. For a CB1300 used beyond town, it is a practical way to make sustained exposure to the wind less tiring.
• Protection: protective parts help limit damage to the areas they cover if the bike goes over. On a CB1300 ridden daily, they are worth considering for low-speed mishaps while parking or manoeuvring, rather than only as something for spirited weekend rides.
• Handlebars: your hand position shapes how comfortable you feel on the bike. When the CB1300 splits its time between urban traffic and winding roads, a natural reach to the controls matters more than changing the appearance of the riding position.
• Levers: shape and reach are particularly noticeable during stop-start commuting, when you work the controls repeatedly. For a CB1300 doing weekday journeys as well as longer outings, comfortable operation is a useful priority over a purely cosmetic change.
• Luggage: cases give you somewhere to carry overnight essentials without wearing a loaded backpack. They make sense when you use this naked bike for weekends away, especially with a pillion and two people's belongings to organise.

Choosing parts for your CB1300's year

The CB1300 has changed over the years, so the 2003, 2004–2009 and 2010 versions should not be treated as sharing every accessory. A part intended for one version will not necessarily fit the others. Choose your bike's year on this page to see only the parts that fit yours.
