Accessories for the Honda CB650F

The Honda CB650F is a naked bike suited to weekday commuting and weekend rides on winding roads. Those two roles put comfort, riding position and protection high on the list when deciding what to fit. With no full fairing to shelter you, managing airflow is another consideration, particularly if your journey involves long stretches of dual carriageway rather than just streets and back roads.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CB650F

• Screens: a screen helps redirect some of the airflow away from your upper body, making it worth considering for longer journeys. On the CB650F, the choice is about balancing the wind coverage you want on faster roads with a less prominent front profile.
• Protectors and crash protection: these help limit damage to the areas they cover if the bike goes down. For a CB650F used throughout the working week, they are a practical consideration when tight parking spaces and low-speed manoeuvres are part of the routine.
• Handlebars and levers: the bars influence your upper-body position, while the levers shape your interaction with the brake and clutch. If your CB650F handles both stop-start traffic and open-road rides, treating these controls as a set helps you think through hand position and reach.
• Footrests: secure foot support matters when shifting your position through a series of bends. If the same CB650F is also your commuter, consider leg position alongside that support: a more tucked-up stance may not be what you want for every journey across town.
• Number plate holders: an alternative holder can give the rear a cleaner appearance, complementing the CB650F’s naked styling. This is a visual change rather than a comfort upgrade, suited to riders who want to personalise the bike without altering their riding position.

Let your regular route set the priorities: controls and protection for urban use, or a screen when exposed stretches of dual carriageway feature heavily in your riding.
