Accessories for the Honda CB750 Hornet E-Clutch

Commuting during the week and heading for winding roads at the weekend call for slightly different accessories on the Honda CB750 Hornet E-Clutch. As a naked bike, it makes sense to focus on wind protection, protection against minor knocks and comfortable contact points. The right priorities depend on whether your riding involves mostly town traffic, longer stretches of open road or a regular mix of both.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CB750 Hornet E-Clutch

• Screens: wind pressure against your upper body becomes more noticeable when a naked bike spends time on faster roads. A screen can help reduce that pressure, making it a useful addition for a Hornet used on dual carriageways or longer weekend rides.
• Protectors, crash bungs and bars: these help limit the effects of minor knocks or a stationary drop. They are particularly relevant if your Hornet is a daily commuter, with frequent parking, tight spaces and low-speed manoeuvres rather than just open-road riding.
• Handlebars and footrests: these contact points let you tailor your riding position. On the Hornet, the aim is to balance comfort on the journey to work with a position that lets you move naturally when a weekend route becomes more demanding.
• Phone mounts: useful when the same bike takes you through unfamiliar city streets and out onto new country routes. A mount keeps your phone secured for navigation, helping you follow a planned ride without relying on remembered junctions or frequent stops for directions.
• Tail tidies: the number plate area is a visible part of a naked bike's rear profile. A different holder offers a way to personalise the Hornet's rear-end styling, with the emphasis on appearance rather than wind protection or riding comfort.

For regular open-road mileage, start with the screen and riding position. If most journeys stay in town, protection against everyday knocks may deserve attention first.
