Accessories for HONDA CB900F HORNET

Accessories for the Honda CB900F Hornet

The Honda CB900F Hornet is a naked road bike suited to everyday commuting as well as weekend rides on winding roads. Those two roles call for different priorities when adding accessories. Wind protection matters more when your route includes motorway miles, while riding position and protection for exposed areas deserve attention on a bike used regularly around town.

What riders usually fit to the Honda CB900F Hornet

• Screens: a screen helps redirect some of the airflow reaching your upper body. On a naked bike such as the Hornet, that makes it a useful addition for longer road rides, particularly when a motorway stretch separates you from your favourite bends.
• Handlebars: handlebar geometry influences where your hands sit and how far you lean forwards. If your Hornet handles both the weekday commute and weekend back roads, this is a useful place to focus when tailoring the riding position to the time you spend in the saddle.
• Protectors: these help limit damage to the areas they cover if the bike falls. For a naked Hornet used daily, protection for exposed parts is a practical consideration, especially when your routine involves frequent parking and manoeuvring in town.
• Levers: shape and reach affect how your fingers meet the controls. Frequent clutch use in stop-start traffic makes this contact point particularly relevant for commuting on the Hornet, rather than treating replacement levers as a purely cosmetic change.
• Number plate holders: these let you change the appearance of the rear end as part of a sportier-looking setup. They suit a Hornet used for weekend road riding when you want a cleaner visual finish to complement its naked-bike style.

For regular motorway journeys, start with wind protection. If most of your mileage is around town, riding position, controls and protection are more useful starting points.
